Mashpee Recreation will be teaming up with Dino’s Sports Bar for a fun Pickleball outing on August 11th. It is a fundraiser for his charity, “Light the Way” which will provide reflective clothing to children between 3rd and 8th grades. A many of you are aware, Dino was involved in a tragic accident in which a young teen lost his life. The group was out in the road searching for a family pet and Dino struck the young man with his car, having never seen him due to dark clothing. So, to make some good come out of a tragedy, Dino established a charitable foundation to provide reflective items to young people.
Our Glo-Ball Pickleball Event will be held at Quashnet Elementary School in Mashpee, Thursday, August 11th from 6:00-8:00 PM. We have 3 courts inside and 5 outside for play. $20 entry fee, all proceeds go to the foundation. The gym will be darkened for play and balls, lines, etc. will all be glowing. Giveaways, prizes and fun!!! Post event food, drink, music at Dino’s, 8:00 PM- ???
