  • Mashpee’s Community Picnic & Fireworks to take place Friday, June 30th
    at Mashpee High School

    Pack the kids, lawn chairs & picnic baskets and join us for Mashpee’s Annual Community Picnic and Fireworks on Friday, June 30th (rain date July 1st) at 5:00pm at Mashpee High School, 500 Old Barnstable Road, off of Route 151.

    The family festivities will begin at 5:00pm with a variety of entertainment. Performances include a magic and juggling show by Robert Clark, aka Lucky Bob, K-9 Dog Demo and music by DJ Tom Tuttle! Games and activities will include carnival style games, face painting, obstacle course, Gaga pit, a laser tag dome, toy race car tracks game, train rides & pony rides! There will be plenty of food and refreshments for purchase including BBQ pulled pork, hot dogs, hamburgers, sausage/pepper/onions, falafel, pizza, novelty & scooped ice cream, cotton candy, popcorn, fried dough, and Cape Cod Cannolis. The night will conclude at 9:15PM with a spectacular fireworks display by Atlas Fireworks. Free parking is available at the high school, until full. For your convenience, there will be a shuttle bus service from 5:30 – 10:30 PM. Pick-up will be at the Quashnet School, 150 Old Barnstable Rd. and drop off at Mashpee High School. Handicapped parking will be available. Alcohol, smoking and pets are not allowed on school grounds.

    The event is planned & organized by volunteer members of the Mashpee Special Events Committee and sponsored by the Town of Mashpee, Roche Bros., Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, Botello Lumber Company, Sea Mist Resort, Craig Jones MD, Ear, Nose & Throat Surgery, Chapman, Cole & Gleason, Mashpee Dental Associates, Hy-Line Cruises, Asia, Mashpee Family Medicine & Mashpee Congregational Church.
